What’s the latest in Carbon Friendly Presentations?

It’s the Hologram !

Imagine a hologram host for your next conference...

As we become more focused on our program-spend and the ever-increasing need to become more socially responsible on the carbon emissions contribution to a meeting, communication technology is at the forefront of creating innovative ways in the transfer of messages to delegates.

Three-dimensional holograms are becoming the host of the future, with senior members or leaders being ‘beamed in’ to meetings from around the world.

What Recession?

With so much conjecture going on about how Australia will be affected at grass roots level by the Global Crisis, we have had some interesting feedback from our clients and industry colleagues which is very promising.

What Recession? – Check out this deal!

The Radisson Resort on the Gold Coast is a 4.5 star recently refurbished property offering all the trimmings and service of a 5 star hotel at sensational rates. Only 15 minutes from Gold Coast airport and with multiple features including a golf course, it’s hard to bypass when budget and standard are both a priority.

An amazing rate of $185 per room and $56 for a full day conference package is pretty good value, but throw in a complimentary cocktail party for groups and it borders on the side of sensational value for money. READ MORE

An Amazing Feat – SKM raises $23,000 for a Cambodian Orphanage

Community responsibility is often part of the corporate repartee these days and while charities are sure to be the hardest hit due to the economic downturn, one Global organisation takes their responsibility very seriously and deserves much recognition for their generosity.

The challenge of recommending a suitable charity for the SKM philanthropic activity, which has become part of the AGM Gala Dinner, was met this year when our Directors met a lady named Geraldine Cox of the Sunrise Program. This extraordinary children's Ambassador has single handedly started the program to support street children in Cambodia, offering them a new life, new opportunities, education and an opportunity to work towards a better future.

In an unprecedented act of generosity, SKM shareholders and their partners from many parts of the world raised $23,000 in donations to assist the foundation continue it’s vital work.
